What's the difference between a forklift and a telehandler?
A forklift lifts loads straight up on a vertical mast, which makes it efficient for stacking pallets in a warehouse or yard. A telehandler uses a telescopic boom that extends up and outward, so it can place loads at height and reach over obstacles a forklift can't. If you're moving pallets on flat ground, a forklift is usually the better fit. If you need to reach onto a roof, upper floor, or across a trench, choose a telehandler.
Do you deliver forklifts and telehandlers to my location?
Yes. We deliver across the Treasure Valley, including Nampa, Boise, Caldwell, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Middleton, and Kuna. Delivery fees depend on distance from our Nampa or Caldwell yard. You can also pick up during business hours at either yard.
Do I need a license or certification to operate a forklift?
You don't need a special driver's license to rent one, but OSHA requires that anyone operating a forklift or telehandler in a workplace be trained and certified for that type of machine. Renting from us, you'll need a valid driver's license, a credit card for the deposit, and proof of insurance. How long can I rent a forklift or telehandler?
We offer 4-hour, daily, weekly, and monthly rates, and machines are available for both short jobs and extended projects. Longer rentals get better effective rates. If you're planning a project longer than a month, give us a call to discuss extended-rental pricing.
Which machine do I need for outdoor construction work?
For outdoor sites with dirt, gravel, or uneven ground, the telehandler is the right call — its reach and stance handle rough terrain a standard forklift can't. Our pneumatic-tire forklift handles paved and improved outdoor surfaces like yards and lumberyards, but for soft or uneven ground, go with the telehandler.
